Books and Comics 2010

I don't like to say negative things about books, but you can see ratings for the books I read during 2010 at Goodreads (and feel free to add me as a friend). As you can see, I have some variety of books there. I try to do something different every once and a while, but my passion really is in fantasy (mostly YA or MG) books.

New books that came out this year that I would like to recommend are (drumroll please):
The Familiars by Adam Jay Epstein and Andrew Jacobson
Ascendant by Diana Peterfreund
Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken

Other books that I fell in love with:
Howl's Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones (my now favorite book ever)

Series that I fell into:

Series I fell back into:

What to look out for in 2011:
Wither by Lauren Stefano

Books I will possibly re-read in 2011:
Cybele's Secret by Juliet Marillier

Any books that you loved this year or books you are looking forward to in 2011?

Natasha

  1. The series that rocked my world this year would have to be The Hunger Games Trilogy. Painful, yet gripping. :-)

@Kate- I just started reading The Hunger Games. I've heard some great things about it and decided to jump in. I am really enjoying it so far!

Thanks for stopping by and hope to see you all around again sometime!

    Cheers!

  5. Hi Natasha. Thanks for following my blog (and I'm following yours too!).

In 2010, I discovered Kate Morton and as I mentioned in my blog, I really love The Forgotten Garden. I'm gonna buy & read all her books. The new one, The Distant Hours looks interesting.
