Since I am vegetarian, I found this clip from "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" that I now completely adore. We watched the episode again and it reminds me that I need to watch the whole series again. I would like to see this episode as a tradition, really!
Also, what does a vegetarian eat on Thanksgiving? Well, it is easier if we go to a place with people that eat the same as we do or to bring some dishes of our own. For example, we are making a nut roast to take to the family dinner. We won't partake in their turkey, stuffing, and gravy. We will have our own. I am also bringing the vegetable (yams) and cranberries. It really isn't that difficult to substitute, it just means we always need to eat beforehand or bring our own food (which I am okay with).
As you can tell, I haven't updated my NaNoWriMo. I didn't do very well last week since I am now at the chapters that are the hardest to write right when difficult things were going on in real life. I lost someone that I love last Saturday and my dad had a triple bypass surgery yesterday (so thankful he is doing just fine). Today I am thankful such wonderful people in my lives that I care and love so much, people that have shaped my life in big and small ways.
There is so much to write about being thankful, but there will be much of that today. May your list be long and growing!
Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving!
